!16!

i have finally made it to the prime age! 16~! and though im scared too death to get any older than this. im excited to be 16. on my birthday, it was only Cody and i at home, every1 else decided to go to Ok. ( i dnt know how to spell it, haha). so Cody was totally sweet, the day before he took me on all my errands including getting a 44oz. sonic strawberry limeade! YUM! i got all the supplies i would need for my big date! (which im getting to, hold on!) :) i even got some lipgloss, haha. i was almost so ashamed of how girly i was that day, it drove me insane! so it was the actual day of my b-day, i decided i wanted to watch the sunrise, and read my scriptures. when i got up on the ponywall cody left a note that read, Happy birthday Em, love Cody, isn;t that sweet, (he also cleaned up the house for me :)) i wanted to make sure i was in tune with the spirit that day. and plus i haven't ever really watched the sunrise, and why not then! it was an amazing experience and i'll never forget it! after my sunrise experience i went back to bed, there was no way i was going to stay up that early, i snuggled back into bed with Haggis! haha. i had planned on waking up at 9ish becasue Cody was going to take me to a movie and i wanted plenty of time to get ready for my big date! i know i was such a girl! so i took a shower for the day, and waited for my hair to dry, i wanted to test the rollers in my hair for the second time, epic fail! unfourtunatley my hair was too thick, and i didn't have enough rollers so the back looked really funny. i did a bit of make up, just so i didn't look like a Banchee, and charlotte and cody took me to Village Inne ( i got to drive :) ) for some breakfast for lunch! YUMMY i had the best pancakes ever. an enjoyed my older siblings company, which i don't get as often as the younglings!

i got home, to put my hair into to ponytails, becasue my hair looked really wierd, and helped Charlotte move her new rug. (this was an eventful day) got to see my pal, Charlotte's roomate steph and charlotte let me borrow her super hot top, and necklace. steph said it made me look like i was on the prowl! haha.

when i finally got home for good (not including my date). i took care of buisiness, unfortuanatley my friends decided we couldn't go ice blocking, so they were all trying to contact me. i checked the messages anf to my delight Katie Coon And Kourtni left me a happy birthday message :) i called back the people i needed too including Caden (my date) to get teh download on what was happening tonight, they decided on peter piper pizza and a movie at Kaylie's.

i turned on my curling iron that steph let me borrow, and laid out my clothes for my big event, my first date! :) with my best friend Caden Carpenter! when the phine rang again. it was sis porter, she wanted to know if she could come over real quick. so while i waited i took off my make up to put the new make up i bought on, and the there was a knock on the door, and guess what she had a whopper for me, haha it was my b-day cake suprise, everyone know i love BK Whoppers! they are the best, well w/o onnions (yuck) and even better w/cheese. but anyway we chatted and when she left i stareted to curl my hair, i thought it was going to take foreever but it only took like 30 min. to my utter horror though, i looked like an eighties girl! after i painted my face (haha) i didn't look to bad, infact i thought i looked pretty smokin. i put on my clothes and sat on the couch waiting for my date to pick me up. and waited. and waited. the deal was 7 but he came a 730. but never fear it was becasue he is pratically the only one who can drive in our group so he was picking every one up and their dates! what a gentleman! haha.

we got into the car and drove to our destination, Caden wouldn't let me buy anything!!! at all! the best part of my dat though would have to be that i was with all my friends :) thaks guys. though we were missing a very important person, KATIE T and KATIE COON, :( but we did have fun. after we ate and decided that we were done a ppp we went to kaylie's and Kaitlyn and KAylie gave me my present, 16 things! haha. i got straws too! :D and Preston gave me movie tickets (Thanks guys!!) after we watched Taken which was awesome but also really sad, caden drove everyone home!

when it was just Preston, Caden and me, it was my turn to be walked to the door. can i just say something...it doesn't matter who your with, even your best friend, that moment isnt just terrifying, but also so nerve racking, he opened the door for me to fast for me to do it for myself and helped grab all my stuff. walked me to the proch which i might add was dark! i know right! so i thanked him for my wonderful date, and he leaned in a gave me a nice hug! What did you think we were going to kiss! NO WAY! especially not on the first date, plus my lips are special and they will wait for the perfect...sorry i forget no one really cares about that. haha. so i went inside steph cody and charlotte wer in their eating doughnuts and asked me how it went, i told them my spoils got into basketball shorts and a tee and came back down to chat. at twelve, my birthday was over and i went to bed, i was exhausted!

sunday i must mention, Charlotte made me dinner, Quesidillahs! haha and for dessert Carmel Brownies! :) YUMMMY!
